Our Profile

Community Hope Development Foundation (CHDF) is a registered Community Based Organization Registration No CBO/924, operating in rural sub counties of Kasese District Uganda East Africa. Our offices are located 4km from Kasese Main town on Kasese -Kilembe mines road after Kilembe mines check point. Our Vision is To have an enlightened society, with a health environment for human habitation. And Mission is
contributing towards raising the living standards of the rural communities by extending services near to the people.

Our major objectives are:

·         Early child education promotion

·         Health and sanitation improvement

·         Women and youth skills empowerment

·         Environmental conservation/ Climate adaptation for farmers

 COMMUNITY AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Community Hope Development Foundation (CHDF) is a registered Community Based Organization Registration Number CBO/924, operating in two rural sub counties of Bulembia and Rukoki in Kasese District. These rural areas are comprised of slow to change characteristics such as limited access to improved early child education, limited access to clean water; luck of women and youth empowerment initiatives, poor environment among others.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Community Development is realized through the application of many approaches which include improved health and sanitation at household and institutional levels, education, good/ conserved environment, and social economic empowerment of women and the youth. These approaches aim at achieving sustainable growth that benefits the whole community. CHDF is proud of working with the rural community for positive change in development.
